Background Story

And here we are, at Kalimantan tropical rainforest which are beautiful, exotic, gorgeous, stunning and full of many variety of animals and plants. You can hear clearly the enchanting song from birds singing and monkeys are swinging and playing around with their brothers. So peaceful and tranquil forest.

Alas, the harmony situation doesn’t last for long. Suddenly big trees are timbering, birds are flying away and animals are running away, they make noises in panic and fear. It turns out that humans bring their heavy and large machinary and chop down the trees. They took all the woods, open the forest, burn the leftover and convert it to become oil palm fields. The dense forest has become bare and barren.

The consequences from the constant forest exploitation and degradation make many animals are lost their habitat and sources of their food, and so are the monkeys. Since the food become scarce many of these monkeys are died from hunger, and they who survived have to look and steal food from human’s oil palm field. The oil palm field owner get angry since the monkeys destroy their fields, hence the oil palm field owner hire hunters to hunt down the monkeys for decent prize.

It so tragical, the monkeys are helpless againts hunters and without mercy the hunters kill the monkeys on the fields, some are taken for trade. All the monkeys are panic and run to the forest in confusion especially orangutan babies while the hunters chasing them relentlessly.

Now, the orangutans and bekantan are in danger! They are need help! They are need to be saved! They are need you!
